The White Mountains region is distinctly lacking in event space, which is why RiverWalk has decided to solve the problem. As we continue working to expand extraordinary, we are adding a unique space called The Grand Ballroom opening in early summer 2024 with all of the following: 

  • Able to accommodate groups of 10-400 people. 
  • Perfect for weddings, corporate meetings, family reunions, fundraisers, social gatherings and more. 
  • Customized event and menu packages featuring additional event enhancements in RiverWalk’s onsite winery, day spa and restaurants. 
  • Full-service, on-site catering, event planning and audio-visual packages.
  • A large, private pre-function area with built-in bar and registration desk that is adorned with a covered wraparound deck and picturesque gazebo overlooking the Pemigewasset River and the breathtaking White Mountains. 
  • Chandeliers, wall sconces, blackout draperies and expansive windows around the perimeter. 
  • Built-in electrical floor outlets and airwalls that allows the venue to be sectioned off into three smaller function rooms. 
  • A state-of-the-art surround sound system. 
  • A 135-inch motorized drop-down projection screen and projector. 
  • Wi-Fi as well as a variety of audio-visual equipment.

2. The White Mountains 

It’s undeniable. Our area is naturally beautiful. The backdrop becomes a destination in and of itself! From our resort, your event guests can view the mountains perfectly and you can also go out and experience them more directly. 

We are lucky to have Alpine Adventures in our backyard, which offers both ziplining and off-road tours as well as Thrillsville, all of which would be perfect for team bonding. Your team could also take a more relaxing outdoor walk along the Pemigewasset River or could go to nearby Echo Lake to breathe in some calm and come together as a group. Another prime option would be to take advantage of some of Loon’s activities like mountaintop yoga, disc golf, hiking or mountain biking.

3. The Family Angle 

It’s not always possible to allow family members to come along on a work retreat, but RiverWalk provides the perfect excuse to include them.

When coordinating a team-building event a crucial part of the planning process is finding one location that can house a lot of people.
